The steel structure of a gantry crane refers to the gantry crane gantry. The single-gantry gantry crane has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient manufacture and installation, and light weight, and is mostly an off-track box-type beam structure. It is generally used under the conditions of ≤ 50 tons of weight and ≤ 35 meters of span. Common types are L type and T type. L-type manufacturing is easy to install, the stress condition is good, and the weight is lighter, but the goods have little leg space. The C-shaped leg and the lower crossbeam are integrated, which is inconvenient to manufacture, but has the advantage of large space for the goods to pass through the legs. Because of its large weight, it is commonly used in railway freight yards.
2, double beam gantry cranes. Double-girder gantry cranes have the advantages of strong bearing capacity, large span, good overall stability, and large overall rigidity, but they have large weight and high cost. Double-girder gantry cranes are divided into two types: gantry cranes with box girders and double-girder gantry cranes with truss girders. The box-type girder gantry crane is generally an offset rail box girder. The legs are provided with upper arches and the legs form a statically indeterminate frame, which solves the problems of trolleys and cargo legs. Compared with gantry double-girder gantry cranes, it has a simple manufacturing process, convenient and reliable transportation, and good overall rigidity, but it has a large weight.
The main beam of the double-girder gantry crane with truss girder is a truss-structured double-girder gantry crane, which has a light weight structure. However, its manufacturing process is poor, transportation is inconvenient, installation is difficult, and overall rigidity is not good. Therefore, truss structures are rarely used.
